This softer foam conforms more readily to your head, resulting in a more comfortable fit. That makes this version favored by most people. BUT, this helmet liner does NOT meet the CPSC safety certifications for bicycle use. So, the “skate only” version of the ProTec Ace helmet, the ProTec B2 helmet, and the ProTec Classic helmet are intended for skateboard use only.
