Skateboarding news and BMX news about the Cleveland stop of the AST Dew Tour 2008.

Cleveland, Ohio (our world headquarters at XSportsProtective) was lucky enough to host the 2008 AST Dew Tour, which is a traveling competition featuring both BMX and skateboarding, sponsored by Mountain Dew.

Lot’s of fun and interesting people, some awesome performances and the opportunity to show attendees the latest in skateboarding protective gear and BMX protective gear. Can’t beat that!

There are already great clips of the Dew Tour online; here’s one of my favorites (although I have to say…why aren’t they wearing skateboarding protective gear?).

In this clip, professional skater Danny Feunzalida teaches a younger skater, Hunter Nugent, how to perform a skateboarding trick. It’s fun to watch and it’s great to see how generous Feunzalida was with his time and attention. Thumbs up for that.

But . . . even though they were practicing a trick that was relatively simple, it’s important to get into the habit of wearing protective gear – at least a skate helmet – from the very beginning.

Do you need information about the best skateboarding protective gear – or BMX protective gear for your needs?

At XSportsProtective, we have what you need, including a skate helmet to keep you safe while learning new tricks and moves. Order today – and check back often to see more skateboarding news and BMX news from the AST Dew Tour, Cleveland, 2008.
